Cincinnati Bengals QB Bruce Gradkowski had a chance to make strides toward the starting job Sunday, Aug. 21, against the New York Jets, but he managed to complete just three of his seven attempts for 50 yards, and he was also picked off once.
Huddle Up: Gradkowski probably had the inside edge for the job coming in, with the rookie Dalton being behind the curve with the lockout. Dalton's looked lost and strangely inaccurate thus far, so one might think Gradkowski is still likely QB1 for the Bungles coming into the season. Neither QB would make for a viable fantasy starter in typical league formats.
